Ingredients
2 medium beets
2 tbs fresh ginger
1 tsp coriander
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground turmeric
2 cup water
1 tsp fresh cilantro
Directions
- Wash and chop beets into cubes.
- In a medium saucepan, heat the ginger, coriander, cinnamon, and turmeric for about 5 minutes.
- Add chopped beets.
- Reduce to low heat, add water, and simmer for about 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool. Garnish with cilantro.
