Crop Availability Calendar

We’ve had many requests for a calendar showing when various crops are available. Farmer John finally took some time to sit down and review our records and create this calendar.

Now when you want to know, “When is that in season?” you can reference this handy guide! This calendar is specific to our farm, and farms in other parts of the state or country may have different availabilities.

We do encourage you to ask your favorite restaurants who include the word “local” and “organic” on their menus where they source their foods. When you see cool weather crops like broccolini on a menu in July, you can be assured it wasn’t grown here in Florida.

Help us encourage year-round support of our local food system by trying summer veggies like eggplant, okra, malabar spinach, callaloo, basil and Seminole pumpkins!

We are one of the only year-round, certified organic, diversified farms in Northern Central Florida. We are proud to provide over eighty types of locally produced foods for our CSA members, farmers market, restaurant and wholesale customers every day.

It takes extra work in the summer to produce less abundant crops, but we feel it is worthwhile to keep our staff employed year-round and to keep paying our bills on time.

Thank you for your support!
