We’re off to a foggy start this morning as the cool fall air and warm earth collide in our fields. As the mist lifts we’ll be grateful to see the last of our warm season crops still standing after a very close call on Friday evening. Temperatures got down freezing for just a few hours at the ground level, enough to burn off some of our warm season grasses that plague our young carrot rows. Thankfully Old Man Winter spared our hibiscus and bean plantings so we’ll have a few more weeks of harvest if everything else goes well. We’ll be busy planting more winter greens, radishes, and peas this week and seeding transplants in our greenhouse. We wish all of our customers a Happy Thanksgiving and hope you have enjoy a wonderful meal with your family, full of your favorite Frog Song produce!- Farmer John
