Green Onion Drop Biscuits Recipe

Here is a recipe to use our organic green onions with – Green Onion Drop Biscuits by Melissa d’Arabian – Ten Dollar Dinners. Our green onions are always sturdy, fresh, tantalizingly bright and green!

Ingredients

1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, cubed and chilled
1/2 cup whole-wheat flour
3 green onions, chopped
1 teaspoon baking powder 1
tablespoon finely grated Parmesan
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk

Green Onion Drop Biscuits Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Put the flour, baking powder, and salt in a food processor and pulse briefly to mix.
  3. Add the butter and pulse until the mixture is crumbly.
  4. Add green onion and Parmesan and pulse just enough to blend.
  5. Add the milk and pulse until combined.
  6. Drop the dough in rounded tablespoons onto a greased baking sheet, and bake until golden, about 13 to 15 minutes.
