Community Supported Agriculture
Joining our CSA

investing in our food ecosystem

Your Direct Connection to our Farm
Invest in a share of our farm’s harvest and secure your food: a weekly box of fresh-picked, locally grown, certified organic fruits & vegetables. This is your alternative to the grocery store where you can join a community that supports local independent farmers and our ecosystem.
Serving the Gainesville, Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Tampa Bay, Ormond Beach, and Orlando areas.
What is CSA?
CSA – Community Supported Agriculture – is a partnership between community members and the farmers that feed them.
CSA is an investment. Members make a commitment to the farm, and together we produce high quality produce grown with the people, planet, and produce in mind. Each week members pick up tasty, fresh, produce at one of our convenient sites.
CSA membership is a very special opportunity for you to support the creation of new sources of healthy food and jobs in our community. Your investment will yield a weekly bounty of locally grown produce and support alternatives to the conventional food system. We hope you will join us in co-creating a sustainable food system and become a member of our farm.
What you need to know.
About Frog Song CSA
Subscribe for a week-by-week billing to receive a weekly box of seasonal, certified organic fruits & veggies from our farm, plus bonus items to add diversity from regional partner growers. We work to provide the best variety and quality possible throughout the growing season.

In a good season, your share will be bountiful and diverse. In the event of a crop failure due to a freeze or hurricane, your share might look a little different. We will always be transparent as to where items come from, sources and producer practices are listed on our website.
Farmer’s Choice
Members receive weekly 7-9 vegetables and/or fruits being harvested from our farm and partner producers. All of the fresh produce grown at our farm in Alachua County is certified organic.
These shares are not customizable, there are no substitutions.
Check our crop calendar for what we grow.
Your Choice
If you want to become a member and select your own items, please select the “Pre-Paid Your Choice Membership” option, a one-time payment of $500. You will log in weekly to place your order to choose from any items in our store. When you use up your credit, you can purchase more at any time.

Add-ons
Every week you have the option to make additions to your CSA box with more in-season produce, our pasture-raised meat products, and artisanal kitchen goods.
Pasture-Raised Animal Products
We take pride in humane and environmentally-sound animal husbandry. Learn more on our page about our pigs.
Eggs: We choose not to use sanitizing chemicals on our eggs and we do not grade them by weight. According to USDA regulations, this means they may not be labeled for human consumption. We currently sell eggs as pet treats and have a feed master registration. To receive eggs, please join as a member and purchase an Egg Share. At this time, eggs are not SNAP eligible.
Pork Share packages are processed in USDA approved facilities.
Egg shares and pork shares are available, please contact us for more details.
Artisanal Kitchen Goods
We reduce waste by utilizing all we can from our crops to make delicious jams, syrups, kimchi and pickled veggies, dried tea leaves, sauces and more. With our partners, we also provide goods such as honey.
Our kitchen products and animal products are always made using all organic ingredients, however are not certified organic due their small batch nature and the lack of certified processing facilities in our region.
The Benefits of Community Supported Agriculture…
- A seasonal eating experience – you get to try different foods at the peak of their flavor and nutrition. Taste new varieties of vegetables and learn about how they grow and how to cook them.
- Receive recipes on how to cook the produce in your weekly share and discuss with our CSA members cooking and food preservation knowledge.
- Get to know and form a connection with your local farmers. You’ll be able to visit and learn about your farm at special events. You have a direct connection to your food source and have access to ask any questions!
- Reduce your carbon footprint by eating more local foods, and contribute to the development of a sustainable, local food system!
- Nourish yourself and your family with increasing consumption of certified organic produce, grown without the use of synthetic herbicides, pesticides or fertilizers.
- Support ethical relationships with farm workers and the increase the creation of jobs in food security and production in our your region and community.
- Save money compared to getting organic from the grocery store, and take control of your health and future by cooking more meals at home knowing you’ll always have high-quality, fresh produce.
- Help reduce financial risk because our costs of production are paid up front (in our Pre-Pay program). We can focus on growing the best food possible for the rest of the season and tend to the needs of the land, knowing that our crops are already sold to our community.
- We get to know the people we serve and we love seeing familiar faces each week. It’s a joy to see families nourished by healthy food!
- We’re able to hire more people and count on steady work throughout the season.
- We are able to plan production and abundance, and also harvest our crops to order so we can reduce waste.
- We work with and stand together with our partner growers to build a regional food system and provide well-rounded seasonal crops to show the future of feeding the people sustainably.

Testimonials
I love being a CSA member, all my interactions with the customer service team have been super helpful and I really enjoy the veggies we receive. The individual box is more than enough for my 2 person household and when we have extras I give them to my coworkers, and everyone is always so excited to receive them!
I’ve been a CSA member for several years. Frog Song is the best of the best – tasty local produce grown with ethical practices that are good for the soil, the workers and the customers.
I love my bi-weekly individual boxes. The mix of veggies in good proportions allows me to make meals for several weeks that are colorful, local, and nutritious!
We’ve been getting a CSA box for 6 months, and it still feels like Christmas every week! Home delivery was amazing as it was dropped off at right at our door. We’ve just switched to a pickup location 10 minutes from home to save a bit on the cost, and that has also been a great experience— Grounding Roots employees are very welcoming and happy to have us picking up from them! (I think the pricing for home delivery is appropriate, it’s just that I generally don’t pay for food delivery if there is another option. Also, I am confident that the cost of the veg itself is comparable to what I could pay elsewhere, though of course better quality and variety!)
