Rental Commercial Kitchen

We have a commercial kitchen for rent on the property of Frog Song Organics in Alachua County, Florida. The kitchen was finished in 2025 with the goal of producing value-added products like jam for the farm. We are stoked to offer our space to help other food businesses in the community thrive.

The kitchen is currently unable to accommodate food truck businesses or deep fat frying.

Requirements

We require that you have your business license, insurance, and workers’ comp insurance for your employees that are going to be at our kitchen. All regular users must carry liability insurance of $1,000,000 with Triceratops Partners LLC named as additional insured, as well as signing the required licensing agreement. Instructors holding their own cooking classes must have event insurance and sign the licensing agreement.

We also require that people who are going to be at the kitchen are certified ServSafe food handlers. Because of the nature of our farm, we additionally require background checks on anyone working on the property. We will take care of that detail but there is a charge included.

Features

Our commercial kitchen is spacious with ample counter space. The kitchen has a number of features, including dedicated storage space (both dry and cold), easy parking for loading and unloading, bathrooms, and WiFi. Appliances and kitchen machines available include:

Two compartment prep sink
Dish machine and three compartment sink
2 Hp Meat grinder
Band saw
Chamber Vacuum packing machine
Table top mixer
Food processor
Blenders & immersion blender
Steam jacket kettle
Dehydrator

We will be adding an 8 burner gas grill for outdoor use which can be used for events at additional cost. At this time we are not able to accommodate deep fat fryers.

Utilities are included.

Initial Fees

Security Deposit:$250.00
Consultation, orientation, application fee: $40.00
Background check: $40.00 per person

Total Initial Fees: $330.00 USD

Monthly Charges

Primary production base rate: $120.00/month(2×4 hour blocks)
Secondary production base rate: $18.00/hr paid in advance, min 4 hr blocks

Storage

Dry:$25.00/shelf/month
Walk-in:$25.00/shelf/month

Freezer storage not available at this time.

Primary base and storage cost are to be prepaid by the first of the month. Secondary base rate at 7 day terms and must be paid before booking additional dates. $10.00/day fee for late payments. Billing is through the square app and scheduling is coordinated on a Google calendar.

Note: Kitchen hours do not carry over to the next month if any hours for the month are unused.

Location

The rental kitchen is located on the Frog Song Organics farm property in Alachua County at 4317 US-301, Hawthorne, FL 32640.

There are dedicated parking spots and on-site bathrooms are adjacent to the kitchen.
