Today we celebrate all of the wonderful women who participate in the farm in one way or another. At our farm, women and men who do the same job earn the same wages. Women and men work together in the fields, we drive tractors, haul trailers, get dirty, and we sit down together to eat lunch made from food we worked together to grow. We hope that our daughters will grow up in a world where women and men have equal rights, equal opportunities, and the ability to work together to fulfill their potential and dreams.
Hi Amy,
I love your honoring the women of the farm and I enjoyed meeting them when we picked up our vegetables. I went to a woman’s college and got the first Master’s offered in the US for Women’s Studies in 1974. Were you born then? Anyway I digress and wanted you to know how much we enjoyed your produce and eggs. Such a treat for me and my family. Thanks for going to the trouble of organizing our order. Kind regards, Joan
