This Share Includes: Cantaloupe, Baby Arugula, Sweet Corn, Cucumbers, New Red Potatoes, Sweet Cured Onions, Red Cabbage and Tulsi Basil.
Cantaloupe- 1st of the season. So sweet and delicious you will want to eat the whole melon by yourself. Simply cut in half and scoop out the seeds with a spoon. You may choose to slice (the meat) off the rind and cut into cubes or enjoy it on the rind, whichever you choose make sure you have a napkin or an extra shirt nearby these babies are JUICY!
Baby Arugula- This very tender & spicy variety grown in our shadehouse, will add a little zing to any dish.
Sweet Corn- So fresh and delicious you can eat it raw- right off the cob. Try It.
Cucumbers- My new favorite way to eat these cucumbers is to chop them up and combine with some grape tomatoes and some diced onion. Toss with your favorite pesto, a little bit of balsamic vinegar, some salt and pepper and there you have a crisp delicious salad that will just get more and more delicious as it marinates. Throw in some bow tie pasta and make it a meal.
New Red Potatoes- These little red potatoes are the perfect size to easily pan roast. Cut them in 1/2 or in 1/4, toss them in a skillet with some fresh diced garlic, extra virgin olive oil and Rosemary (finely diced). Sautee for about 15 min or until you achieve that golden brown color and they .
